Starting Salary: $70,500 to $105,000 Annually

Investigate product failures, analyze data, provide technical support to resolve product and warranty requests regarding technical, performance, or related issues while enforcing the organization's warranty policies regarding customers claims.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities- Claim management: review, process, and manage warranty claims. Communicate and enforce warranty policy with customers and other Nidec facilities.
- Root cause analysis:
Identify causes, analyze claim data, and troubleshoot repair(s) of equipment failure. Identify the parts, components, and service needed for resolution. - Cross functional collaboration:
As necessary, work closely with company and customer's engineering personnel on technical matters and coordinate instructions and recommendations. - Technical Support: provide technical expertise for warranty-related issues and documentation. Maintain up to date technical knowledge of company products. Work from complex engineering drawings and specifications, detailed written and verbal instructions, and handbooks.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: track warranty trends, analyze impacts, and generate reports as requested for management and customers.
- Continuous improvement: support initiatives to reduce warranty and improve reliability. Support corrective action efforts with other groups to prevent recurrence.
- MS-Office and Oracle experience required.
- Excellent communication skills both internally and with customers experiencing problems.
