Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate Target App features and Wallet
• Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and guide guests to enroll and use these features
• Handle returns with guidance from leadership and in line with policies
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock during open hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up, and related duties with compliance to laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Accurate checkout operations and support for cash office as needed
• Safe handling and movement of merchandise, lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and reliable attendance
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including drive-up and carryout tasks
