Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

- Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
- Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
- Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
- Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services
- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
- Make the guest aware of current promos, store activities and events
- Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store, and specific to your area
- Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
- Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up
- Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
- Work efficiently to minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
- Explain and demonstrate Target App features and Wallet
- Be familiar with Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering, and guide guests to enroll and use these features
- Handle returns with guidance from leadership and in line with policies
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and manage stock during open hours
- Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards
- Support guest services such as order pickup, drive-up, and related duties with compliance to laws
- All other duties based on business needs
- You enjoy interacting and helping others, including guests and team members
- You thrive in a fast-moving, active role where teamwork, flexibility, and problem solving are key
- You are open to a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times
- Effective communication, positive language, and attentiveness to guests

- Willingness to educate guests about products and services
- Ability to use multiple devices and handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Accurate checkout operations and support for cash office as needed
- Safe handling and movement of merchandise, lifting up to 44 pounds with or without assistance
- Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays) and reliable attendance
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a shift
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions, including drive-up and carryout tasks
