About the Role

Wenger Construction is looking for hardworking and dependable individuals to join our Commercial Roofing Division. As a Commercial Roofer, you’ll be part of a skilled team that installs and repairs flat roofing systems on commercial buildings.

No prior roofing experience is required — we’re willing to train the right candidate who has a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and an interest in construction. This is a great opportunity to build a long-term career in the commercial roofing trade with a company that values quality, teamwork, and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including
    • Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
    • Drug screen
    • Background check
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle, as this role requires driving for work purposes

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

  • No flat roofing experience required – willing to train the right candidate
  • Some construction experience preferred
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to punctuality
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
  • Basic understanding of construction practices a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely drive and operate company vehicles to and from jobsites, delivering crew members, tools, and materials as needed
  • Assist in the installation and repair of commercial flat roofing systems
  • Perform general construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
  • Utilize hand and power tools to repair and replace roofing materials
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe jobsite at all times
  • Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently
  • Learn and apply new skills related to commercial roofing tools and techniques
  • Assist in heavy lifting and the installation of roofing components
