Maintenance Technician Location:
Manitowoc, WI

Shift: 2nd Shift(2:00pm-12:00am Mon-Thurs); enjoy a 3 day weekend!!! OR 12hr weekend Shift, work 36hr, get paid for 40! Pay:
Starting at $25/hr, based on experience A  Employment Services is partnered with a company in Manitowoc and is recruiting for a Direct Hire Maintenance Technician position. If you're looking for a stable company with growth opportunities, this could be the perfect fit for you! Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and replace mechanical components on production equipment, including presses, forklifts, and conveyors.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, dismantling and repairing or replacing parts as needed.
• Assist with electrical and electronic repairs, including re-wiring.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility support systems.
• Construct and repair items such as brackets, panels, and HVAC systems.
• Support new equipment installation, including site preparation and utility connections.
• Assist with utilities and support equipment installation for new plant construction.
• Perform external building and property maintenance.
• Utilize carpentry, plumbing, and welding skills as needed.
• Attend team meetings, training sessions, and follow all EHS procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational training in mechanics, welding, machine repair, or related field is a plus.
• 2-3 years of experience in industrial or mechanical repair.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
• Ability to build relationships and adapt to change.
• Quick decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, diagrams, and manuals.
