Press Brake Operator; 2nd Shift

Description

Responsible for operating and maintaining CNC press brakes to produce quality parts per print.

• Determines set up and operating procedures from job tickets.
• Prepares presses for production, mixing ink, adjusting calibrations and machine setting and reviewing proof documents.
• Operates presses to produce high quality fabricated sheet metal parts.
• Maintains work area to assure consistent operations and clean orderly workstations.
• Performs minor equipment repairs and maintenance to presses.
• Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures.
• Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations.

• Ability to effectively communicate with other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and situations to other employees of the organization.
• Ability to read and understand documents such as work orders and blueprints.
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
