- Monitor equipment to ensure that products are being assembled properly.
- Keep the workstation clean and free of hazardous materials.
- Maintain an open line of communication with all employees.
- Address problems with production equipment and machinery and fix them as needed.
- Clean equipment and perform general housekeeping of the line.
- Remove faulty assembled poly bags from the assembly line.
- Inspect assembled products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Affix labels, company logos, and other exterior details to products.
- Set up the box former, keep it stocked with boxes, attend to the glue pot, and replenish supplies.
- Oversee robot pickers and palletizers; choose recipes, adjust belts for box changes.
- Set up and adjust the box taper and sticker machine, ensuring proper performance and print quality.
- Ensure that all production deadlines are met.
- Adhere to all Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Ability to interpret equipment gauges and monitors.
- Effective communication skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Capability to work independently with little or no supervision.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
- A safety mindset.
