Inpatient Pharmacy Technician

MANITOWOC at FROEDTERT HOLY FAMILY MEM HOSP facility (On‑Site)

Shift: Part‑time, 8‑hour shifts during the week and 10‑hour shifts on weekends.

Job Summary

Following established policies and procedures, under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, prepares and distributes medication and performs functions essential to the operations of the pharmacy department. Functions within the guidelines of the Wisconsin Statutes and Administrative Code – Pharmacy Examining Board – Pharmacy Practice Sections.

Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a hospital pharmacy department preferred.
Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
Licensure
  • Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician required by hire date; must be obtained within 12 months of hire.
  • Staff hired before 3/31/23 must have applied for registration by that date and obtained it by 3/31/24.
  • Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCE or ExCPT preferred.
