Job Summary:The Licensed Athletic Trainer II provides comprehensive athletic healthcare in accordance with evaluation and treatment protocols established by the athletic trainer and approved by the consulting physician. Responsibilities include injury and illness prevention, evaluation, management, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency care during physical activity. The role also involves participating in department activities to enhance patient/athlete care, program development, staff education, and supervision.
Demonstrates advanced athletic training skills, emerging leadership, and mentorship. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum of two years of experience meeting Level I responsibilities as determined by interview and assessment.
Education:Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited Athletic Training program or related field.
SpecialSkills:
Proficiency in all LAT level 1 competencies, maintained productivity, and potential for additional responsibilities. May require clinical expertise in specific discipline.
Licensure:Wisconsin licensure as an Athletic Trainer and BOC certification required. AHA BLS or equivalent within 90 days of hire.
