Responsible for entering customer orders and informing all departments that need to know of special requirements to ensure the customer’s needs are satisfied on a timely basis.
Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities- Perform order processing, editing and data input functions.
- Maintain and update customer files and pricing.
- Effectively communicate with customers, sales, distribution and production planning to ensure customer needs are met in a timely manner.
- Verify the customer deductions, invoicing and credits are issued correctly.
- Follow up with customers on any past due invoice issues.
- Maintain PO Acknowledgments on a daily basis.
- Ability to train individuals in Order Entry.
- Perform other duties as required and requested by supervisor.
- Associates Degree.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Phone and email Etiquette.
- Ability to read and follow written procedures.
- Proven Customer Support Experience.
- Strong Phone and email handling skills with ability to respond to different types of character.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of SAP a plus.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS- Stand; walk; reach above shoulders; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl up to 1/3 of the time.
- Sit, use hands to finger, handle or touch; and talk or hear 2/3 and more of the time.
- Up to 10 pounds weight to be lifted or force to be exerted up to 1/3 of the time.
- Filing in four-drawer file cabinets requires occasional standing, stooping and reaching slightly over shoulder height.
- Loading and removing invoices requires stooping.
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
- Fax machine, printers, copier, bar code technology and forklift up to 1/3 of the time.
- Computer and telephone 1/3 to 2/3 of the time.
