Account Manager - Metal Fabrication

Heiden LLC is hiring an Account Manager – Metal Fabrication to manage and support our existing customer base. This role blends customer communication, internal coordination, and long-term account ownership, with the opportunity to develop estimating skills over time.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
• Manage customer inquiries, orders, changes, and issue resolution
• Develop a deep understanding of customer requirements, pricing, and order history

• Work closely with estimating, engineering, production, purchasing, and scheduling
• Monitor open orders, delivery commitments, and backlog
• Proactively address risks to customer satisfaction and on-time delivery

• Support and progressively learn estimating and quoting activities
• Document customer knowledge to support continuity and cross-training

• Reviewing open orders and delivery timelines
• Responding to customer questions or change requests
• Coordinating internally to keep jobs on schedule
• Sitting in on estimating discussions or learning pricing structure
• Updating account notes and customer documentation

• Experience in account management, inside sales, or customer service (manufacturing preferred)
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Willingness to learn technical drawings and estimating
• ERP, quoting, or CRM experience is a plus
