Salary Range: $56,000 - $88,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Manistee that are seeking skilled Industrial Electricians. Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions using various testing devices.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical components to minimize downtime.
• Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with national and local electrical codes and safety standards.
• Calibrate, test, and adjust electrical instrumentation and control systems.
• Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications accurately.

Recommended Qualifications

• Valid Journeyman Electrician license or completion of a recognized industrial electrician apprenticeship program.
• Proven experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial control systems, PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), and motor controls.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Strong understanding of industrial safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash safety.
• Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), servo drives, and industrial instrumentation.

Bonus Qualifications

• PLC programming and optimization experience
• Robotics electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience
• Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) commissioning and advanced troubleshooting
• Experience with instrumentation and process control systems
