Parts Counterperson

Little Apple Toyota Honda is seeking a dependable and motivated Parts Counterperson to join our fast-paced parts department. This position is responsible for supporting technicians with the correct parts needed for service and repairs, assisting walk-in customers, managing parts inventory, and providing a professional customer service experience at the counter.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring parts availability and accuracy for both internal and retail customers, and contribute to a streamlined service process alongside a high-performing fixed ops team.

Technician Support:

• Accurately pull parts for service and repair orders
• Ensure parts are delivered promptly to technician stalls
• Maintain communication with service advisors and technicians to minimize delays

Retail & Wholesale Sales:

• Assist retail customers and wholesale accounts in selecting and ordering parts
• Provide professional, courteous service and knowledgeable parts recommendations
• Look up parts accurately using dealer software and cataloging systems

Inventory Control:

• Maintain proper bin locations and organize inventory stock
• Perform periodic inventory checks and assist with cycle counts
• Monitor and update special orders, returns, and parts requisitions

Daily Operations:

• Process repair order and counter ticket billing
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the retail parts area and back counter
• Assist in stocking shelves, receiving freight, and preparing returns

Qualifications

• Prior parts counter or automotive experience strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a team environment and manage time effectively
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with DMS systems (Dealer track/CDK preferred)
• Valid driver’s license required

• $2,500 Monthly Salary Base for Non-ASE Certified Counter-persons
• $3,000 Monthly Salary Base for ASE Certified Counter-persons
• 1% of the total parts department gross

Annual Compensation Range: ~$40,000 - $50,000+ depending on performance
