OPPORTUNITY:
Psy Phy Care , a division of Business Staffing of America, Inc., is seeking to contract with a Substance Abuse Counselor for a Federal supported client in Manhattan, KS 66503.

DESCRIPTION:

Responsible to develop and facilitate the Center's alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention program. Educates and counsels students to reduce and prevent drug-related separations from the program. Develops individualized case management plans to enhance student retention and success. Ensures confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with all HIPAA laws.

The facility is 40 hours per week, 5 days per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The students' ages are 16–24.

• Develop and facilitate the Center's alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention program
• Educate and counsel students to reduce and prevent drug-related separations from the program
• Develop individualized case management plans to enhance student retention and success
• Ensure confidentiality of sensitive information and compliance with HIPAA laws

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school preferred
• Minimum of one year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field required
• Valid In-State Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling/Prevention required
• Required license or certification: CADC
• Required experience:
