Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor - Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging

About This Role

Applicants must hold a DVM or equivalent degree, be ACVR or ECVDI certified, or be eligible to take the certifying examination. Competence in general radiology, diagnostic ultrasound, MRI, CT, and fluoroscopy is required. The selected candidate will provide clinical service delivering imaging services to a robust small animal caseload, with opportunities to work with large and exotic animal patients in the Veterinary Health Center.

Responsibilities include:

  • Teaching veterinary students, interns, and residents through clinical rounds and didactic lectures.
  • Collaborating with basic and clinical science departments within the College of Veterinary Medicine.
  • Supporting professional growth and maintaining a work‑life balance through flexible scheduling.
Essential Qualifications
  • DVM or equivalent degree.
  • ACVR or ECVDI certification (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Proficiency in general radiology, ultrasound, MRI, CT, and fluoroscopy.
  • Strong commitment to teaching and mentorship.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and specialties.
Desired Experience
  • Experience with small, large, and exotic animal imaging.
  • Previous academic teaching or clinical mentorship roles.
  • Experience with consultation and grant development.
Worksite and Benefits

Salary: $65,000 – $110,000, plus a competitive start‑up and consultation package.
