Physician (OB/GYN) Ft Riley, KS

This position is located at Fort Riley, Kansas.

This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Medical malpractice liability insurance is not required for federal civilian healthcare providers as they are covered by the Federal Tort Claims Act (28 U.S.C. 1346(b)) while acting within the scope of their employment.

Responsibilities

MAJOR DUTIES

  • Examine, diagnose, treat or prescribe course of treatment for OB/GYN patients including those of an unusually complex and difficult nature.
  • Respond to obstetrical and gynecological emergencies as the team leader.
  • Perform advanced colposcopy and treatment of dysplasia on OB/GYN patients.
  • Administer and prescribe medicine and treatment.
  • Guides and directs the work of all personnel during assigned shift or in the absence of regular supervisor.

Performs Other Duties As Assigned.

Basic Requirement For Physician

Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association;
Association of American Medical Colleges;
Liaison Committee on Medical Education;
Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of…
