Construction Estimator​/Project Manager

Assist in quantity take-offs and preparing estimates for commercial and residential site projects. Additional tasks would include reviewing/writingsubcontracts, change orders, job costing, submittal packages, shop drawings and as-built plans.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Perform accurate and thorough take-offs for earthwork cuts and fills.
• Takeoff for pavement, curb & gutter, sidewalk and building pad areas.
• Takeoff for footing & foundation excavation and backfill.
• Develop an accurate proposal based on material, equipment and labor costs.
• Assist with 3D modeling for excavation equipment using Trimble Business Center software.
• Work with other team members including Project Manager to ensure project meets specifications and scheduled deadlines.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor and MCM leadership.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Degree in construction management or estimating, or related field experience is a plus. Civil Engineering is a plus.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
• Experience with Procore and Trimble Business Center software is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self-starter with effective oral and written communication skills.
