Trial Court Clerk IV, Grade 27, $23.16 hourly

Job Duties

This is a non-supervisory position in the Clerks department and will be supervised by the Clerk of District Court II. The role requires experience and knowledge of clerk and jury functions. Must have the ability to self‑manage and travel to both counties within the district, possess good time management skills, the ability to work well with others including the public, and must have excellent communication and organization skills.

This position requires working closely with judges, administrative assistants, jury pools, juries, and clerks.

Required

Education and Experience

Graduation from high school with two years’ experience with the courts OR an associate degree.

Preferred Qualifications

Attention to detail, accuracy, strong written, oral communication and organization skills. Ability to work individually as well as part of a team. Proven ability to interact with jurors, staff, and judges in a professional manner, and possess the ability to help create a uniform jury protocol for the 21st judicial district.
