At Weaver, we seek a State and Local Tax (SALT) Senior Manager to help lead the Sales & Use (Indirect) Tax division of our SALT practice.

This role involves working on complex tax engagements, leading innovative sales and use tax planning, and staying updated on tax law changes across states.

Minimum qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA, CMI, or JD
• 7+ years of state and local tax experience in a public accounting firm, focusing on indirect (sales & use) tax compliance and consulting
• Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff and managers

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Strong relationship management and practice development skills
• Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients

Compensation and benefits: The estimated salary range is $141,000 to $290,000, depending on experience, skills, certifications, and location.
