Facialworks is a leader in the skincare industry, well known for providing affordable oxygen facials in a relaxed, welcoming facial bar environment. In addition to our signature services, we are recognized as a top 100 Hydra Facial account, consistently delivering cutting-edge skincare solutions to our clients. After successfully expanding throughout Orange County, Facialworks has opened its first LA County location at The Point in El Segundo (Southbay).
We are looking for an experienced, business-savvy Spa Business Lead to spearhead the success of this new location. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality client experiences, building a strong, motivated team of estheticians, and driving business development through strategic partnerships and dynamic events. This is an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on a rapidly growing brand.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure all estheticians are well-trained and consistently delivering outstanding service.
- Coach and mentor staff on growing their client book and maximizing revenue opportunities.
- Create and maintain staff schedules to optimize operations, including providing additional support between appointments on busy days.
- Perform esthetic service and maintain a high degree of client retention.
- Maintain a high average sales per client of products and memberships.
- Demonstrate first class technique and client service.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with local businesses to increase brand visibility and attract new clients.
- Envision, plan, and execute dynamic promotional events, both independently and with partners.
- Gather engaging content (e.g., photos, videos) for social media marketing.
- Represent and promote the business at events to foster community engagement and strengthen Facialworks’ presence in the Southbay.
- Assist with client check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a seamless and welcoming experience.
- Support staff by turning treatment stations between appointments.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the client experience and drive additional revenue.
- Enforce sanitation and safety protocols to maintain a clean and compliant spa environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure supplies are restocked as needed.
- Address and resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally.
- Be software-savvy, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Utilize scheduling, client management, and POS systems to streamline daily operations.
- Experience with Zenoti or similar spa management software is a plus.
- Proven experience in spa management, hospitality, or a similar leadership role.
- Strong leadership skills with a passion for coaching and mentoring teams.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to build business relationships and execute successful events.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple priorities.
- Proficient in using business management software with a willingness to learn new tools and platforms.
