Responsibilities
For Journeyman Electricians:
Installation and Maintenance: Execute the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in compliance with applicable codes and standards.Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to apprentice electricians. Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure project success.Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently. Conduct thorough inspections to identify and address problems.Safety: Prioritize and enforce safety protocols on job sites. Conduct safety assessments and implement corrective actions as necessary.Blueprints and Documentation: Learn to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Assist in maintaining accurate records of work performed.Safety: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines. Report potential hazards and actively participate in creating a safe work environment.For Apprentice Electricians:
Enrolled in or completed an electrical apprenticeship program.Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success.Commitment to safety and following guidelines.Qualifications
For Journeyman Electricians:
Valid Journeyman Electrician license.Proven experience as a Journeyman Electrician.Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and codes.Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and leadership abilities.For Apprentice Electricians:
Enrolled in or completed an electrical apprenticeship program.Basic understanding of electrical systems and components.Eagerness to learn and contribute to team success.Commitment to safety and following guidelines.Education
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license (or experience).
- OSHA
10 preferred.
