Dishwasher

We are searching for an experienced dishwasher to join our talented team here at Pardo's. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen operations. You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for food preparation.

• Operate dishwashing equipment, including industrial dishwashers, sinks, and drying racks.
• Clean and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans promptly.
• Sort and stack clean dishes and utensils in their designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in the dishwashing area and kitchen floors by sweeping, mopping, and properly disposing of waste.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation and restocking whenever needed.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper handling of chemicals and waste disposal.
• Report any maintenance or equipment issues to the kitchen manager promptly.

• Prior experience as a dishwasher in a restaurant or commercial kitchen is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 pounds).

In this role, you will frequently work in a hot and humid kitchen environment. You will typically be required to stand for long periods and may need to bend, reach, and lift throughout your shift.
