Overview

Title: Medical Biller

Schedule: Full Time, Days, Monday-Friday

Status: Hourly

The Medical Biller is responsible for accurate and timely submission of medical claims, payment posting, and follow up to ensure proper reimbursement while maintaining compliance with billing regulations.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Two or more years of medical billing experience required
• Working knowledge of CPT, ICD 10, and HCPCS coding
• Familiarity with insurance payers including Medicare and Medicaid
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with billing software required

• Submit clean and accurate claims in a timely manner
• Review and resolve claim rejections and denials
• Post payments and adjustments accurately
• Communicate with insurance carriers regarding claim status
• Maintain compliance with billing and privacy regulations
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff as needed

• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a high volume billing environment
• Strong productivity and time management skills
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and daily billing targets
• Rapid claim review and data entry with minimal errors
• Ability to prioritize workload and shift focus as needed
• Consistent attention to detail while maintaining speed
