JN Small Business Loans Limited seeks to recruit a Loan Receivable Officer for our Mandeville/Christiana locations – Region 4. The Loan Receivable Officer (LRO) is responsible for the administration and management of current loan receivables with particular emphasis on those accounts which have become or threaten to become difficult to collect or seriously delinquent. In consultation with the Client Relations Manager (CRM), the LRO will be required to recommend, coordinate and review collection techniques and negotiate acceptable repayment plans for the delinquent borrowers

- Prepare documentation for collections/repossessions to be given to bailiff.
- Recommend utilization of bailiffs or the initiation of legal proceedings
- Manage the administration of Bailiffs
- Conduct collection activities in each location within the region at least four (4) times per month. Your collection target will be provided by the Client Relations Manager (CRM).
- Identify clients’ accounts that are to be assigned to bailiffs where unable to collect
- Manage the seizure, storage, and sale of repossessed items
- Monitor clients’ compliance with arrangements made to settle loan balances
- Report on the number and value of loans being assigned to the bailiffs and provide up to date information on the value of collection for clients under assignment
- Draft memos to communicate the necessary fees (bailiff, repossession, etc) to be added to clients’ accounts
- Report on any changes/challenges in the micro-finance collection environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field of study.
- At least two (2) year experience in selling and servicing small business credit.
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive.
- Ability to work independently and with others.
- Proven management and organizational skills.
- Strong adaptability and capacity to work in fast-paced environments.
- In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making.
- Must own a reliable motor vehicle
