Heavy Haul Driver​/Rigger

Responsibilities:

• Pull super loads, local and over‑the‑road hauls.
• Handle flat RGNs, step decks and double‑drop loads.
• Align, level and anchor cranes and equipment.
• Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoist and pulling gear.
• Connect pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles and clamps.
• Clean and dress machine and component surfaces.
• Control movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
• Dismantle, maintain and store rigging equipment.
• Manipulate rigging lines and hoist steel, concrete and other materials.
• Select gears, cables and shackles according to load size, facilities and schedule.
• Signal or give direction to workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety.
• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability before hoisting or lifting.
• Operate in compliance with DOT laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• CDL Class A license (required).
• Rigging experience.
• Excellent mechanical reasoning and understanding of weights, measurements, and balance.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, travel, and overtime.
• Must pass drug test, fit‑for‑duty assessment and background check.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs.
• Strong communication and reasoning skills.
