Located in Mandan, Dakota Alpha is a 20-bed skilled nursing facility dedicated to supporting individuals with traumatic brain injuries. We're proud to be North Dakota's only facility specializing in brain injury rehabilitation - and we're looking for compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Housekeeping staff to help keep our home safe, clean, and welcoming.

What You'll Do:

Help keep Dakota Alpha clean, comfortable, and welcoming! In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining a tidy and sanitary environment throughout the building while helping manage facility laundry and occasional small repairs.
  • Clean and sanitize common areas, rooms, hallways, restrooms, and work spaces
  • Sweep, scrub, and maintain floors; assist with annual floor stripping
  • Dust furniture, polish surfaces, and clean windows, walls, and fixtures
  • Empty trash, restock bathroom supplies, and replace light bulbs
  • Wash facility laundry using proper sanitary procedures
  • Occasionally assist residents with personal laundry and stain removal
  • Help monitor and maintain cleaning and laundry supplies
  • Keep laundry equipment clean and report maintenance needs
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Follow confidentiality, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Help keep entrances clear of snow and ice when needed
  • Maintain flower beds and outdoor areas
  • Participate in trainings and work collaboratively with other departments

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or successful experience in other housekeeping/laundry work settings.
