Stock Control and Logistics Coordinator

Join a well‑established company based in Trafford Park, Manchester, that provides international freight and global logistics solutions. The role is a permanent position reporting to the Warehouse Manager.

They provide International Freight & Global Logistics Solutions to importers, exporters and their-party logistics companies alike. They have been operational since January 2007. Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management:
    Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular stock checks, and utilize WMS for picking and inventory.
  • Order Management:
    Process purchase orders, manage customer details, and track shipments and deliveries.
  • Logistics Coordination:
    Plan and schedule transportation of goods, manage shipping documentation, and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Supplier Relations:
    Liaise with suppliers and negotiate beneficial deals for transport and services.
  • Client Relations:
    Liaise with Clients and build strong relationships.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., Access Delta / Clarus), data analysis, and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
Soft Skills
  • Organization:
    Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.
  • Communication:
    Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for dealing with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Problem‑Solving:
    Ability to analyze situations, resolve discrepancies, and suggest process improvements.
  • Attention to Detail:
    Meticulous attention to detail is crucial for accurate record‑keeping and inventory management.
Experience & Education
  • Proven work experience in stock management, supply chain, or logistics.
  • GCSE English and Mathematics grace A sua C / 9‑5.
  • Familiarity with supply chain best practices.
  • Seniority level:
    Entry level.
Remuneration and Benefits
  • Competitive basic salary (£28,000 – £30,000).
