Pure Staff are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver working on day shifts. This role can offer candidates ongoing agency work or temporary to permanent based on a successful trial period.

A Class 2 Driver is required for an ASAP start for a company that deals with general haulage, based in Irlam. This role will involve 2‑man deliveries; you will be delivering printers so heavy hand‑ball is involved.

Days:
Monday to Friday £16.06 per hour PAYE PLUS Overtime which is paid at £17.84 per hour after 8 HOURS.

Your hourly pay rate is £16.06, and you will accrue £1.94 per hour in holiday pay for every hour worked, which is banked and paid to you when you take annual leave. We do this to make sure our drivers are fairly paid and encouraged to take proper time off work as we believe regular rest is essential for safety and mental wellbeing of all workers.

Please note, the above rate quoted does not include holiday pay as holiday pay is paid separately when you book annual leave.

• HGV Class 2 License
• No more than 6 points
• At least 6 months Class 2 driving experience
• Reliable
• Have excellent timekeeping

• Delivery and installation of printers (installation training will be provided)
• Installation of Amazon lockers required on occasion
• Speak to customers in a professional manner
• Clean driving license with no more than 6 points (no TT TS MS DR DD DG codes)

It is Monday to Friday work with start times from 5am, no weekends.
