Are you prepared to take on one of the most action‑packed roles in the aviation industry? At dnata we’re seeking courageous and energetic individuals to join our team of Ramp Agents. Every day is a mission to keep our customer airlines’ aircraft soaring. You will work flexibly as part of a multi‑skilled team operating plant and equipment to load baggage, cargo, and mail into aircraft;

assist with aircraft towing and pushback operations; operate aircraft in‑plane loading systems and terminal baggage belt systems; complete damage reports for equipment and baggage; operate mobile and fixed equipment; maintain good housekeeping and parking discipline; maintain general security of the ramp; and comply with company procedures and instructions.

• Previous experience in ramp operations, ideally with heavy or operational machinery.
• Ability to carry out both system‑supported and manual loading/unloading of bags.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
• Full UK driving licence required – minimum 1 year driving experience preferable.
• Safety‑driven with the ability to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Pre‑employment checks: successful completion of reference checks, criminal record checks, and a satisfactory medical report to meet dnata and CAA security regulations.

Hours: 40 hours per week. Main roster pattern is a ‘6 days on, 3 days off’ with a mixture of early and late shifts. The earliest start time is 05:00 and the latest finish time is approximately 23:00. Some flexibility is required.
