Position: Manchester Driver (HGV Driver)

Contract: Permanent

Overtime: Enhanced rate

Location: Manchester - M90 5UX

Salary: £29,744 – £36,876.06 per year, depending on vehicle and shift

Shift: Mon – Fri, 50hrs/week

• Operating commercial vehicles
• Load and unload goods
• Making sure loads are safely secured
• Following traffic reports and adapting routes if necessary
• Carrying out basic routine maintenance
• Completing delivery paperwork, PDA, Walk around check or any documentation
• Following the compliance, tacho master and other regulations and laws that are applicable

• A valid HGV license
• Knowledge of transportation laws and regulations
• Ability to operate HGVs safely and efficiently
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair
• Familiarity with GPS systems and other tracking devices

• Be present with a positive and can‑do attitude
• Be flexible and reliable
• Have a minimum of 1 year experience driving HGV
• Have great communication skills
• Be able to provide a clean basic Criminal Record Check prior to start date (obtained within 26 weeks)
• Provide a full 5‑year checkable history
• Hold a clean driving licence (if the position requires it)
• Hold valid DQC and up‑to‑date CPC
