Job Details

Full time, permanent.

Salary: £35,000–£43,000 per annum (dependent on skills and experience).

Place of work: AGB Performance Centre – Manchester, Sheffield or Loughborough.

Agile Working Policy: flexibility to work from office/centre and from home.

About Aquatics GB

Aquatics GB is a national governing body for Aquatics sports in Great Britain, including Swimming, Para‑Swimming, Diving, Artistic Swimming and Water Polo. It provides training environments across the UK for permanent athlete groups and serves as performance hubs for World Class Programme athletes. The Sports Science & Sports Medicine Practitioner Team now covers a cross‑aquatic remit.

Role Summary

This role will oversee, manage and drive the delivery of nutrition support for World Class Programme athletes within Aquatics GB. The post‑holder reports to the Aquatics Head of Physical Performance and works collaboratively with coaches and the performance support team across all World Class Programme sports to ensure the highest standards of nutrition support.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate nutrition support aligned with Aquatics GB’s mission to be “The best aquatics organisation in the world”.
  • Provide direct nutrition support to Aquatics athletes based in the North region – Loughborough, Sheffield, Manchester, and some support for athletes in Stirling.
  • Travel to other centres within the Aquatics GB network to fulfil non‑delivery duties, and provide support at domestic and international competitions and training camps.
  • Work flexibly and travel frequently as required.
