* Design, develop, test, and deploy high‑quality software solutions that meet business needs
* Work closely with colleagues across disciplines to capture requirements, analyse technical feasibility, and translate them into engineering solutions
* Lead the development and implementation of complex frontend and backend applications
* Maintain high standards of code quality, architecture, and documentation
* Participate in code reviews and provide constructive, actionable feedback to peers
* Take ownership of debugging, root‑cause analysis, and resolution of production incidents
* Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence, learning, and continuous improvement
* Extensive experience as a Senior Software Engineer or in a similar role
* Deep understanding of modern software engineering principles with experience building
** highly observable, scalable, and distributed systems**
* ** Advanced proficiency in React**, including: + State management using
** Context API and Redux** + Microfront end architectures + Component design patterns and performance optimisation + Testing with
** Jest
* * and
** React Testing Library
*** Strong backend development experience with
** Node.js/Express**, including: + Microservices architecture + Event‑driven systems + Pub/Sub or Kafka + API design and integration patterns
* Solid system design knowledge, including: + Caching strategies (e.g.,
** Redis**) + Scalability, reliability, and performance considerations
* Hands‑on experience with cloud‑native architecture and containerisation (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker)
* Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices (Scrum, Jira)
* Thorough knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
* Excellent problem‑solving and analytical thinking skills
* Strong collaboration, communication, and relationship‑building abilities
* Awareness of emerging trends and technologies such as
** Generative AI**,
** Large Language Models**, and
** Agentic Architecture / AI Agents
*** Understanding of networking fundamentals across cloud and on‑premise environment
