Software Developer – Real‑Time Data & Cloud Engineering
Kafka, Go, Python, .NET, GCP, SQL,
Hybrid – Manchester or Stoke (2 days onsite)
£55,000 + 15% bonus + full benefit
Our client is expanding its real‑time data platform team and is looking for a Software Developer who enjoys building high‑performance, cloud‑native systems. You’ll work across Kafka Streams, Go, Python, .NET, SQL, Spanner, Big Query, and modern automation tooling to deliver scalable, low‑latency data solutions.
What you’ll work on- Services built in Go, Python or .NET, with clean, maintainable code.
- SQL‑driven data processing and optimisation.
- Automation, developer tooling, and platform reliability improvements.
- High‑volume, low‑latency systems used across the organisation.
- Experience with Go, Python or .NET.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with large datasets.
- Exposure to GCP or other cloud platforms.
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
