A leading retail technology firm is seeking a Principal Software Engineer for a 6-month contract in Manchester. This role involves collaborating with architects and product owners to lead a transformation to a cloud-native, event-driven architecture. Responsibilities include overseeing technology vision and strategy, along with opportunities for hands-on rapid prototyping. Ideal candidates should have extensive experience with Type Script, AWS, and CI/CD, and be available to work onsite four days a week.

Competitive pay of up to £650/day offered.
