This leading banking group is seeking to expand its application security team with a technical lead who will design and deliver tools to help developers build secure software.

Responsibilities

60% software development, writing and maintaining APIs, glue code, wrappers etc to integrate App Sec tooling with other services in the bank.
40% SAST, DAST, SCA, vulnerability scanning - being a practitioner of building secure pipelines.

Qualifications

To be successful, you will have strong software development experience with at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Go. You will ideally have a good understanding of the software security landscape: CVEs, CWEs, and common software vulnerability types.

Compensation

Salary £80-90k + (depending on experience) + bonus + benefits.

Location and Working Conditions

The role is based in either Manchester or Glasgow with hybrid working (2 days a week in the office).
