Senior Software Engineer

Overview

I’m offering a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to join an established scale-up. You’ll work collaboratively in full-stack, multi-disciplinary teams where everyone is hands-on across all stages of development.

• Backends are serverless AWS Lambda services using Type Script & Node.js.
• Infrastructure is hosted in AWS, defined as code, containerised on ECS, and we’re embracing serverless and other cloud-native technologies.
• Operational data stores are a combination of Mongo
  
  DB and AWS managed relational databases.

• Experience with Type Script, Node.js, AWS, and React
  
  JS. You don’t need to have experience with all of these, but you should be an experienced developer capable of working with these tools.
• Experience with automated testing and a desire to practice TDD.
• A good understanding of SOLID design principles.
• A strong understanding of Dev Ops principles and hands-on experience deploying, maintaining, and owning systems through CI/CD pipelines within cloud-based infrastructure.
