Software Developer, Verification

Within the Verification team, you will develop, enhance, and support our business-critical Verification platform, delivering real-time facial recognition systems using innovative AI technology and core operational tooling.

The team is re-architecting from the ground up to Golang, React, and cloud platforms, with core skills in Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, and Type Script.

You will work with a team of talented developers to deliver high-quality solutions for customers and operational teams, building low-latency, highly available, scalable solutions while following agile practices at an enterprise level.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

• Commercial experience within web clients or server-side development.
• Experience working with front- and back-end technology.
• Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang or Type Script, or expertise in similar or alternative technologies.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical matters to people across different areas of the business.
• Experience working in an environment with high volumes of change.
• Experience with software development methodologies and best practices.
• Understanding of the development of automation and developer tooling such as CI/CD systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant discipline, or relevant professional experience.

• Developing highly efficient, robust, quality code for scalable enterprise-level solutions.
• Supporting and enhancing the existing code base.
• Maintaining clean coding practices.
• Identifying technical areas of improvement.
• Supporting Software Product Owners.
• Supporting the testing team during testing phases of projects.
• Contributing to solution proposals.
• Creating work effort estimates as required.
