• Deliver a comprehensive social work service within a multi-agency partnership to children in need and their families, ensuring assessments and interventions align with statutory requirements.
• Identify appropriate pathways for children and families using established guidelines to manage risk and support sustainable change.
• Conduct thorough assessments that address the needs, risks, and protective factors of families, developing plans that promote positive outcomes.
• Work directly with families, utilizing a variety of social work techniques to assess and improve parental capabilities and meet the unique needs of their children.
• Ensure all case recordings are thorough, reflecting the child's voice and analysing the impact of their lived experience.
• Represent the local authority at multi-agency meetings, reviews, and conferences, taking a leading role in proceedings.
• Maintain active professional registration with Social Work England by engaging in continuous professional development.
• Collaborate with colleagues and external agencies to implement and document effective plans for children.
• Participate in supervision with practice managers and leads, offering mentorship and supervision to junior team members or students.
• Undertake additional duties as required, in line with your role and grade.

As a qualified Social Worker with relevant experience working with children and young people in a statutory setting, you must hold a Social Work Qualification or equivalent, and be registered or eligible for registration with Social Work England.
