Overview

Support Worker – Female Only – Permanent – £26,549.63 per annum (£27,722.51 after 18 months successful performance). Working 37.5 hours per week on a 5‑week rolling rota covering 7.5‑hour shifts from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Some weekend and bank holiday working included. Based at The Beeches, Manchester – a 24‑hour supported housing service providing short‑term accommodation for 22 women aged 18‑25 experiencing homelessness.

The post is primarily based at The Beeches but also includes roll‑over shift cover at the nearby Stopover 10‑bed stopover project.

• Encourage, support and motivate customers to achieve their goals and prepare for an independent future.
• Co‑produce risk and needs assessments and person‑centred support plans.
• Facilitate group work sessions covering Money Matters, independent living skills, employment and training.
• Deliver structured support and risk management to vulnerable people with complex needs.

• Experience of working with vulnerable people and delivering structured support.
• Experience of risk management and person‑centred planning.
• Team player with caring, empathetic and resilient can‑do attitude.
