Our Client, Manchester Council, is seeking an Adults Social Worker to join their Learning Disability Team.

Responsibilities of this role:- To enrich the lives of our service users and relatives at all times through delivering person centred care, ensure engagement in structured day activities, development of Independent Living Skill and move on when appropriate.
- To professionally manage safeguarding issues, liaising with all stakeholders and working at all times to support the individual and protecting the reputation and interest of the Services.
- To create and develop strong internal and external relationships that will help strengthen the brand and competitive advantage i.e. relationships with Local Authority, CQC and Primary Care Trust commissioners as a healthcare partner.
- To be the Operational Lead within the organisation to ensure high quality good practice is delivered consistently and maintained to satisfactory care standards.
- Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
- Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
- Must have minimum of 3 years Post Qualifying experience working as a social worker
- Dedicated Recruitment Consultant.
- Aftercare service delivered by Candidate Care Team.
