Social Worker – Adults Integrated Neighbourhood Team (Bury)

• Conduct general assessments, support planning, and reviews for adult customers within the community.
• Engage in Mental Capacity Act and Best Interests work to ensure customer rights and safety.
• Complete Continuing Healthcare assessments and attend Decision Support Tool meetings to support customer needs.
• Undertake legal work, including Court of Protection and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS) cases.
• Work on a general caseload, offering support and advice as needed, ensuring duties are completed in the office on Tuesdays.
• Collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams to provide high‑quality social work services.
• Maintain accurate and timely records to ensure compliance with agency and legal standards.
• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and contribute to promoting the welfare of vulnerable adults.

You must have at least two years of experience working in a statutory adult team and be adept at navigating complex cases. This role is ideal for someone confident in making independent decisions while accessing support when necessary.
