What you will do:
- Collaborate with individuals across Manchester, providing expert social work support within the Preparing for Adulthood/LD Service.
- Work closely within the office for at least three days a week, contributing actively to team discussions and decisions.
- Use knowledge of the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, and risk management to support service users effectively.
- Participate in statutory social work duties, ensuring compliance with current legislation and best practices.
- Engage with community resources and partners to enhance service delivery and outcomes for individuals.
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as required.
Requirements:
- Relevant degree or equivalent in social work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Significant frontline experience as a qualified Social Worker within the UK Social Services, particularly in statutory roles.
