Fire Alarm Engineer – Manchester Area – Up to £49,000

The Opportunity:

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading FM provider for an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to join their growing engineering team covering Manchester and surrounding areas.

You’ll be working across a variety of high-profile and technically interesting environments including hospitals, chemical plants, breweries, schools, universities, and shopping centres.

This role offers excellent flexibility, strong earning potential, and the opportunity to work with one of the most recognised companies in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Servicing and planned maintenance of fire alarm systems

• Commissioning of new fire alarm installations

• Fault-finding, diagnostics, and repair of fire alarm systems

• Ensuring all work complies with relevant fire safety regulations and standards

• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation

• Supporting clients with technical advice when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience working with fire alarm systems (service, maintenance, commissioning)

• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• Experience working across commercial or industrial sites

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Salary up to £49,000 per annum

• Monday to Friday – 8:00am to 4:00pm (flexibility to choose your own hours)

• Call-out rota: 1 in 7, moving to 1 in 8 (£250 per week when on call)
