Overview
Tiler (Trades and Labour) – Carbon
60 is looking for a Tiler (Trades and Labour) to join the team at the Oldham location.
- Location:
Oldham OL9 - Contract type: 3 Months Contract
- Shift timing:
Monday-Friday 37.50 Hours Per Week - Pay rate: £26-28 Umbrella
- Preparation:
Cleaning, levelling, repairing surfaces, removing old tiles/grout, and applying waterproof membranes. - Layout & Design:
Measuring areas, interpreting drawings, and planning tile layouts for precision and symmetry. - Cutting & Fitting:
Cutting tiles accurately around corners, edges, and fixtures using specialist tools. - Installation:
Applying adhesive and setting tiles with correct alignment and spacing. - Finishing:
Grouting, sealing, and ensuring a clean, high-quality finish.
- Minimum Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of health & safety standards on-site.
