Painter and Decorator

Job Overview

We’re seeking a dedicated Painter and Decorator to join our team at HMP Forest Bank. In this role you will ensure all decorating is carried out promptly and in compliance with safety code and regulations. Your work directly contributes to the safety and operational efficiency of the facility.

• Carry out reactive and planned decorating projects as directed to provide operational support to the establishment at all times.
• Ensure all works are undertaken in a safe manner in accordance with good practice and current legislation.
• Adhere to tool management procedures laid down in the Local Security Strategy.
• Undertake project work as directed by the Technical Facilities manager.
• Supervise prisoner working parties where applicable.
• Perform all work to relevant trade standards.

• Painting and decorating experience.
• High level of interpersonal skills.
• Positive approach to Health and Safety.
• Proactive, systematic approach to tasks.
• Ability to work to correct time schedules and deadlines.
• Team player.

Salary: £31,800.
