Facade Installation Site Manager

T&D Glazing and Installation Limited (facade installation specialists since 2003) are looking for an experienced Facade Installation Site Manager for a Manchester project (approx. 12 months, with potential to extend).

Site-first role.

On site every day, most of the day - walking the job, solving problems, pushing quality and programme.

If your instinct is to sit in the office and wait for supervisors to “report up”, this is not for you.

Not a massive project with layers of staff. Early on, you’ll also handle some simple tasks and light PM coordination alongside full site control.

Team size guide: Q1 approx. 10-15 people, Q2 approx. 20-25, then it ramps, and towards the end (e.g. hoist infill) it may drop back to around 10 (management + operatives included).

• Day-to-day management of facade installation works (glazing / curtain wall / cladding / rainscreen)
• Coordinate supervisors, operatives, access, logistics, deliveries, and materials
• Digital correspondence: emails, site apps, BIM / document control (where used)

• Proven experience managing facade installation packages on UK sites (glazing and/or cladding)
• Strong understanding of drawings/details and practical problem-solving on site
• Computer confident: MS Office, Teams, and common site/collaboration tools
• Comfortable with common site apps / document control / BIM workflows (where used)
• CSCS Black Card (or a relevant degree if you’re not on a Black Card yet - we can help with NVQ enrolment)

Contract options: PAYE employed, CIS/self-employed, or via your own Ltd company - to be agreed.
