HGV Trailer Technician

We are currently seeking a HGV Trailer Technician on behalf of our Client, a market-leading transportation and logistics specialist based in the Manchester area.

The successful HGV Trailer Technician can expect a salary of up to £38,500 - £40,000 with OTE of circa £50,000 and working hours of Monday to Friday, with overtime opportunities available.

• Overtime paid at time and a half with £50,000 OTE - 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with option to purchase an additional 4 days (up to 37 total)

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on HGV trailers
• Completion of Job Sheets and Documentation
• Liaising with the Service Department and Parts Department
• Completion of MOT preparation Requirements:
• Semi-trailer or heavy vehicle experience
• Industry-recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
• EBS diagnostic experience and welding certification (advantageous)
• HGV Class 1 driving licence
