Job Summary

£38,619 Per Annum, Plus Company Van

This role is located in Greater Manchester. It is a Permanent, Full Time position with 35 hours per week (agile working arrangements in place).

Provide professional joinery/carpentry maintenance/installation service that delivers an excellent customer experience. Adhere to health and safety regulations and organisational policies and procedures, fit and maintain fire doors in line with BM TRADA accreditation, issue certificates and sign off works to comply with third‑party accreditation. Obtain and keep up to date with BM TRADA third‑party accreditation.

• Hold a City & Guilds Parts I, II or NVQ Level 2 in Joinery/Carpentry
• Hold a full, valid driving licence
• Can undertake joinery and carpentry work and associated multitasking activities in customers’ homes and blocks
• Have sound building and construction knowledge
• Ideally, knowledge of installing smoke seals, drop seals, intumescent pads and all other associated fire door accessories
• Able to work out areas and quantities
• Have general building maintenance repair knowledge
• Sound knowledge of fire door and fire safety regulations
