Installation and assembly operative
This role involves warehouse duties, product assembly and on-site installation of specialist equipment. Based in Manchester during assembly phases, the position also requires travel across the UK for installations. The successful candidate will hold a full driving licence, demonstrate flexibility for overnight stays and maintain high professional standards.
Who This Role Would SuitThis position would suit a practical, hands-on individual with an engineering mindset who enjoys varied work between workshop and site environments. It is ideal for someone organised, self-motivated and customer-focused, who can work both independently and as part of a team. Those comfortable with travel and occasional overnight stays will thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out general warehouse duties including loading, unloading and stock handling.
- Assemble specialist canopy systems and related components to quality standards.
- Attend UK sites to complete first and second fix installations and service works.
- Support maintenance tasks including HEPA filter and fan changes.
- Manage workload in line with schedules whilst maintaining a professional client-facing approach.
