Gerrards of Swinton works for many of the main suppliers in the Industry and is a Gold FORS registered company and is currently recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic/Fitter.

The ideal candidate will

* Have experience in routine vehicle maintenance to VOSA standards

* Ensure all known defects are dealt with promptly

* Be able to strip and change tyres if required

* Be able to carry out minor electrical and mechanical work

* Have good house keeping routines to meet H&S requirements

* Be able to communicate effectively with management

* Have a Class 1 or Class 2 licence ideally but it is not essential

* Have a full driving licence

* Be able start from 5am and cover holidays and sickness when required

Hourly rate is negotiable dependant on experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
