Service Technician

Position: Service Technician (Permanent)
Location: Salford

Adecco are seeking a skilled Service Technician with a strong mechanical/electrical background who enjoys hands‑on repairs, problem‑solving and working directly with customers.

Duties:

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults to component level
Carrying out repairs, maintenance and servicing across a range of specialist equipment
Reading technical drawings and schematics
Interacting with customers face‑to‑face and over the phone, providing technical support
Completing job sheets, logging labour and parts used
Monitoring stock levels and supporting goods‑in/out when needed

Requirments:

Mechanical/electrical experience (HNC or equivalent desirable)
Confident soldering small components
Excellent customer service skills
Strong problem‑solving mindset and proactive approach
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Computer literate

Job Type: Permanent

Hours:

Choice (Mon-Thurs, 7am-3:30pm and Fri, 7am-2:15pm) OR (Mon-Wed, 7am-5pm and Thursday, 7am-4.30pm)

Salary: £30,284.80, increasing to £34,070 once fully trained
